ABOUT US

Cambridge Union Podcast Society (CUPS) was created in 2021, during the COVID pandemic, in order to continue the University of Cambridge's longstanding tradition of inviting high profile speakers for thoughtful discourse and debate during the lockdown.

CUPS' objective is to provide the tools for its members to create digital audio content and a forum for thoughtful discussion, insight and learning. The ability to view seemingly contradictory information and postures from multiple perspectives has never been more important. The medium of podcasting allows for more inclusive, intimate and thoughtful content than is possible in traditional debates.

CUPS provides its members with the  tools, equipment and learning opportunities to create their own content.
